In dem Beitrag werden aktuelle Positionen der sozialpädagogischen Bildungsdebatte disku tiert, um davon ausgehend Zugänge zu einer sozialpädagogischen Bildungskonzeption zu er arbeiten. Diese gründet in der Frage nach der Konstitution des Verhältnisses von Subjekt und Sozialem, die sowohl das moderne Bildungsdenken als auch die Entstehung der Sozialpäda gogik bestimmt. Neuere kultur-, sozial- und bildungswissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse legen eine "soziale Konzeption des Menschlichen" nahe, derzufolge es in der sozialpädagogischen Bildungsforschung um die Analyse der mehrdimensionalen Einbettung von Bildung im sozia len Raum geht. Die bisher dominante temporale, biographisch orientierte Perspektive ist daher um eine topographische, auf die Verflechtungen im sozialen Raum bezogene Perspektive zu ergänzen. Der potentielle Ertrag dieses Zugangs wird abschließend mit Hilfe eines empiri schen Beispiels angedeutet.
The author discusses current positions in social-pedagogical thinking on education in order to proceed to a social-pedagogical concept of education. This rests on the question as to the constitution of the relationship between the individual and society which is the basis both of modern education and social pedagogy itself. Recent insights in the cultural, social and educational sciences suggest a "social conception of the human" and the analysis of the multidimensional grounding of education in social space. The heretofore dominant temporal and biographical orientation must thus be expanded to include a topographical perspective relating to involvements in social space. In conclusion, the potential usefulness of this approach is indicated in an empirical example.
