Haushalte von Pflegebedürftigen in Westeuropa werden zu Arbeitsplätzen für PendelmigrantInnen aus Osteuropa. Diese verbessern damit das Familieneinkommen, neue Probleme entstehen aber in der Versorgung von Kindern und älteren Menschen in den Herkunftsländern. Der vorliegende Sammelband betrachtet das Thema Pflegemigration fächer- und länderübergreifend. Modellprojekte für mehr Gerechtigkeit in Pflegemigration runden das Buch ab.
In der Reihe 'caritas international - brennpunkte' erscheinen Beiträge, die das vielschichtige Arbeiten von Caritas International, dem Hilfswerk der deutschen Caritas, in unterschiedlichen Hilfsprojekten dokumentieren und reflektieren.
