Der Artikel diskutiert die Polizierung der Blockupy-Aktionstage, die im Mai 2012 in Frankfurt/Main gegen die europäische Krisenpolitik stattfanden. Ein breites Bündnis hatte dazu aufgerufen, das Frankfurter Bankenviertel und insbesondere die Europäische Zentralbank durch Aktionen des zivilen Ungehorsams zu blockieren und symbolisch zum Stillstand zu bringen. Die Polizierung dieses Protests setzte bereits im Vorfeld auf ein Vollverbot, welches während der Aktionstage teils mittels weitreichender Grundrechtseingriffe der Polizei durchgesetzt wurde. The paper analyses the policing of the Blockupy Days of Action in 2012 in Frankfurt/Germany. In order to protest against Europe´s crisis management, a broad coalition called blocking the headquarters of the European Central Bank by means of civil disobedience. The state´s policing of the protest was organized around an outright ban of all actions and lead to extensive infringements of basic rights. The paper conceptually and empirically discusses the ´spaces of legal exception´ produced thereby.
