In der Bildungsdebatte werden Bildungswesen und Stadtentwicklung seit einiger Zeit als Partner angesehen. Dies nimmt ein interdisziplinäres Forschungsprojekt zum Anlass und untersucht die inhaltlichen und räumlichen Verbindungen zwischen Pädagogik und Planung an einem aktuell prominenten Beispiel: dem Konzept der Lokalen Bildungslandschaften. Dabei geht die Untersuchung u.a. Frage nach, wo sich Sozialpädagogik im Kontext solcher Lokaler Bildungslandschaften gegenwärtig verorten lässt. Vor diesem Hintergrund enthält der Beitrag eine konzeptgeschichtliche und empirische Spurensuche nach der Rolle von Sozialpädagogik an den Schnittstellen zwischen Bildungswesen und Stadtentwicklung.
When discussing education, the educational system and the realm of urban development have been considered as partners for some time now. Taking this link as a starting point, an interdisciplinary DFG-funded research project explores the contextual and spatial intersections between education and urban development. The investigation is based on the concept of local educational landscapes - as a prominent contemporary example of an interface between education and urban development. The study also wants to explore the current relevance of social pedagogy to local educational landscapes. This contribution sets out to look at the conceptual and empirical foundations of the role of social pedagogy at the interface between education and urban development.
