Beschreibung / Abstract
Summary: The authors examine the attitudes of teachers concerning the importance of ethnicity and gender and their (´intersectional´) interplay in everyday school life on the elementary school level. In addition to basic considerations, a survey on the state of the art of research in the field and an interpretation of their own research results, the authors aim at indicating problems that exist with regard to some powerful aspects of professionalism which should be more strongly taken into account in future teacher studies as well as in further education for teachers.
Keywords: Ethnicity, Gender, Intersectionality, Research in the Field of Teaching Profession, Teachers
