Descripción / Abstract
Gegenstand des vorliegenden Aufsatzes ist die empirische Analyse des Zusammenwirkens ökonomischer und technischer Innovationen in der stationären Medizin und Pflege. Am Beispiel der Intensivmedizin wird gezeigt, wie das Verhalten und die Entscheidungen des pflegerischen und ärztlichen Personals durch neue betriebswirtschaftliche Steuerungsmechanismen beeinflusst werden und wie der ökonomische Einfluss durch die Digitalisierung der Patientenakte und die betriebswirtschaftliche Nutzung medizinischer Scores verstärkt wird. Ziel der Ausführungen ist es zu zeigen, dass eine elaborierte Analyse dieses Prozesses nicht nur organisationssoziologische und betriebswirtschaftliche, sondern auch wissenschafts- und techniksoziologische Kenntnisse voraussetzt. Der Aufsatz endet deshalb mit dem Plädoyer, den Theorie- und Methodenkanon der (deutschen) Pflegewissenschaft um die Erkenntnisse der Wissenschafts- und Technikforschung zu erweitern. -- -- The article focuses the interaction of information technology and new accounting practices in the everyday clinical practice. Relating to an ethnographical study in intensive care medicine it shows how the use of the electronic patient record allows the clinical management to influence the medical and nursing decision-making process on the ward in an economic way. The article ends with the argument that an elaborated analysis of the interaction between the informatization- and economization process in practice needs special scientific methods: Beside managerial and organizational knowledge, research in nursing needs to open up for theoretical and methodological results of science and technology studies.
