Description / Abstract
Trotz zahlreicher Versuche zur Klärung des Theorie-Praxis-Problems in der Pädagogik liegt eine befriedigende Lösung noch in weiter Ferne. Der Beitrag geht einmal mehr den Gründen nach, die das Theorie-Praxis-Verhältnis so problematisch machen. Es wird die These vertreten, dass Erziehung und Unterricht als anthropologische Universalien auf einer Wissensform beruhen, die sich aufgrund ihres narrativen Charakters von der wissenschaftlichen Wissensform, die sich historisch erst spät herausbildete, unterscheidet. Das hauptsächliche Hindernis für die Lösung des Theorie-Praxis-Problems liegt in der funktionalen Äquivalenz der beiden Wissensformen.

Despite numerous attempts at solving the theory-practice-problem in education, a satisfactory solution remains a distant prospect. This contribution aims to discover once more the reasons that make the relationship between theory and practice such a problematic one. It is argued that the knowledge base of education and instruction as anthropological universals differs from the knowledge base of science as a modern achievement. The functional equivalence of both forms of knowledge is considered to be the main hindrance for solving the theory-practice problem.
