Description / Abstract
Der Beitrag zielt auf eine Analyse und Einordnung rechtspopulistischer Narrative über Kinder, Kindheit, Familie und Erziehung. Begründet wird dies einleitend über zwei Modi - Entlarvung und Skandalisierung. Das methodische Vorgehen basiert auf einer ´wilden´ Recherche. ´Wild´ deshalb, weil nicht nach strengen Regeln der Korpusbildung für eine Diskursanalyse vorgegangen wurde. Stattdessen ging es darum, sich für das Diffuse des Feldes zu öffnen und zugleich den Spuren strategischer Vorgehensweisen im Rechtspopulismus zu folgen. Nach einer Beschreibung markanter Merkmale des Populismus folgt eine Diskussion über das Verhältnis von Rechtspopulismus und Rechtsextremismus. Die daran anknüpfende Analyse des Materials beinhaltet zwei Schritte. Erstens wird gezeigt, wie zentrale Merkmale des Rechtspopulismus bei der Behandlung pädagogischer Themen zum Tragen kommen. Zweitens geht es um eine analytische Vertiefung rechtspopulistischer Narrative zu sozialen Fragen des Aufwachsens und zu Bildungs- und Erziehungsidealen. Die Studie versteht sich als explorative Annäherung an ein bislang nicht systematisch untersuchtes, aber möglicherweise einflussreiches Phänomen.

The article aims to provide an analysis and classification of right-wing populist narratives about children, childhood, family, and education. The methodical approach is described as "wild" investigation because it does not proceed by strict rules for a discourse analysis. The target was instead to open up to the vagueness of the field and follow traces of strategical proceedings in right-wing populism at the same time. A description of prominent features of populism is followed by a discussion about the relationship between right-wing populism and right-wing extremism. The subsequent analysis of the data proceeds in two steps. The first consists in a presentation of the way characteristics of right-wing populism feature in the treatment of pedagogical issues. The second is to examine in more detail right-wing populist narratives dealing with social questions of growing up as well as educational ideals. The study is taken as an explorative approximation of a phenomenon of potentially great influence which has not been systematically explored so far.
