Description / Abstract
Zusammenfassung: Thema des Beitrags sind Identitätskonstruktionen behinderter Menschen. Dazu werden Identitätstheorien sowie die Stigma-Identitätsthese und der Begriff der ,beschädigten Identität´ kritisch diskutiert. Im Anschluss daran wird eine mit der Objektiven Hermeneutik durchgeführte Untersuchung dargestellt, exempla-risch werden die Identitätskonstruktionen von Frau Biel und Herrn Ertmer rekonstru-iert, die beide Erfahrungen mit Einrichtungen der Behindertenhilfe haben.

Abstract: This article is about the identity construction of people with disabilities. Theories of identity as well as Goffman´s theory of stigma and identity and his con-cept of ,damaged identity´ are discussed. The following objective-hermeneutic-based research will reconstruct the identity structure of Ms. Biel and Mr. Ertmer. They have both gained experiences in institutions for people with disabilities.
