Description / Abstract
Die Aufgabe der Führung ist als Thema in der Volkshochschullandschaft bisher eher randständig -- behandelt worden. Dabei kommt vor dem Hintergrund des laufenden Generationenwechsels in der -- Leitungsebene sowie den gesellschaftlichen und institutionellen Veränderungen sowohl der -- Einrichtungs- als auch der Personalführung an Volkshochschulen eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Der -- Beitrag geht diesen Herausforderungen nach und versucht nach einer Begriffsbestimmung der Führung -- an Weiterbildungseinrichtungen vor dem Hintergrund der Praxis ein abschließendes Fazit zu ziehen. -- -- The task of leadership has been a marginal topic in the landscape of adult education centers in the -- past. Its definition is, however, becoming more and more important against the background of an ageing society and the social and institutional challenges to it in both the setup and the human resource management of adult education centers. The aim of this article is to explore these challenges and draw a final conclusion after having examined and offered a definition of the leadership situation in adult education institutions.
