Beschreibung / Abstract
Die Subjektentwicklung ist eines der gesellschaftlich definierten Ziele von schulischen
Orga nisationen. Der Beitrag stellt die Frage nach dem sozialisatorischen Einfluss
von Bildungseinrichtungen aus einer explizit organisationstheoretischen Pers -
pektive. Diskutiert wird die Frage, welchen Bei trag die Organisationsforschung für
die Analyse von Sozialisation leisten kann. Eine Ausle geordnung bestehender Sozialisations-
und Organisationskonzepte, die sich als Ansätze der Formierungs-, Entfaltungs-
und Strukturationsperspektive bezeichnen lassen, gibt einen Überblick über
das Forschungsfeld. Abschließend erfolgt eine Einschätzung dieser drei theo retischen
Positionen im Hinblick auf die Fragestellung sowie ein Plädoyer für empirische Or -
ganisationsforschung anhand einer Forschungsagenda.

The development of subjects is one of the socially defined goals of schools. This
article raises a question about the socialising influence of schools from an explicit
organisational perspec tive, querying the potential of organisational theory for
the analysis of socialisation. Sociali sation and organisation concepts, which can
be called perspectives of formation, evolvement and structuration, give an overview
of the research field. An assessment of the three theoreti cal positions is given
in answer to the core question, and a case is made for empirical organi sation re -
search by means of a research agenda.
